MACHINA D'AMORE is an ASCII based video that reflects on intimacy and the digital text-based media. More specifically, it shows several well known movie kisses through a sort of ascii-art/poetry filter. Featured on Digital Clip festival, Galleria civica d'arte moderna e contemporanea, Torino, Italy (2002), in Soundtoys (2003), on VideoChannel (2007), and elsewhere.
Credits
This collage based work makes use of poetry by Giambattista Marino and Torquato Tasso, movie inserts from Casablanca, Showgirls and Outer Limits, piano music by Andreja Andric, and piano playing by Ana Zorana Brajovic.
